SIZE 7, SIZE 2 AND ME

I'm finally getting some sewing done. Size 7 is Kacie, size 2 is Mia and Me - is - Me! We love this pattern, Matching Vintage Christmas Dresses, but I put different vintage buttons on each hem. My daughter says, not practical mom, I said - but look how cute it is, everybody will love it. Especially Kacie!

They will differ in their tops under the dress, and leggings or socks, and shoes. These dress's can grow with them because the ribbon is long and it can be tied loser.

I used a friends pattern for the appron. I wanted one for my sewing room. My daughter said, mom, you never wear approns. I said, no, but it will look so cute hanging on my wall.

  8. Dear Cindy, Thank you for your very kind message. I know we will become dear friends. Your little angel in heaven, and mine, will be rooting for us!The photo you saw is of my youngest grandson, whos name is a very old family name, he is Dorsey Lee. My son who is in heaven is named Howard Lee. My oldest son, Andrew named his first born after his brother Howard Lee, So, my oldest grandsons name is Howard, he lives here with us, and is so like his uncle he never met. It is comforting how God still lets me touch my Howard, through My grandson Howard.I know this is Gods grace. A broken heart is filled with a new love.I will post a photo of Howard Lee on my blog soon. XXOXOX Christel

  9. Very cute! I can't sew but sure wish I could. I am gonna at some point try hand sewing some things that I have in my mind to do. I have lots of ideas floating around, just can't get to them all. This world of blogging has certainly expanded my ideas on creative craftiness! Hope you are having a blessed day. :) Tammy

  10. Hi Cindy,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your post on sewing aprons surely caught my eye. I love aprons, new and vintage and wish I had more time to sew them. Aprons have become so popular lately, especially with the young girls in their twenties. I have carried them in my shop since I opened 4 years and now they are becoming hard to find!
