OUT WITH THE OLD

You've heard this before, but I love new beginnings, or start overs. I remember as a child thinking that I couldn't believe, ever, seeing the year 2000. Well, now it's 2010 and I'm still enjoying this great life. I don't know about you guys, but I would be lost without my Planner. It just so happens that I needed a new one and I got it for Christmas. I was so excited - I've transferred all of my phone numbers alphabetically to the back. I've scheduled annual events, semi annual events, and quarterly events and I'm working on monthly events. My goals have been set and I've begun working towards them. My Blog is starting over with a new background and boarder but my format is the same. My desire to visit and be motivated by all of you is the same. I will also keep you posted on my many projects.

This is going to be the best year ever. Can't wait to hang-out with you.

  6. Dearest Cindy,
your parcel has just arrived safe and sound. I knew I needn't worry as over the holiday season the postal service tends to get very slow...
thank you so much for your lovelies. that bag is stunning and so is the bookmark. wow, you are so gifted at seweing girl. Wish I were that good!
and what to say about your doily and the sweet little penguin... I guess they will both go in my White Wednesday post tomorrow. Perfect timing after all!!
And, nothing was missing from the parcel. those delicious gummy bears brought me back to my younger years when I was leaving in the USand had nearly forgotten the taste. my DD had never seen nor tried them before so she took a good handful of them.
Again thank you so much. i will cherish them dearly and think of you most often my dear sweet soul.
Love your new blog look. The chandelier in your header photo is gorgeous and gives your blog a certain charming touch. So glaad you've made the right start into this new promising 2010.
With all my love and many blessings

  9. Cindy` looks like your off to a great start for the new year. Organizing is what I need to do too. Menopause has made me into a "jotter."
I have to jot everything down or I'll forget it two seconds. One of the things I really like to have in my phone book...are the store numbers I frequently call. I'm forever hunting for the same (retailers) numbers over and over.

    Sweet wishes,
    Sara

  11. Cindy,
Your blog always looks so good. I've been working on getting mine re-done for about 3 months now. I am laughing at how you once thought the year 2000 was crazy. When I was in grade school I figured out how old I'd be that year, thought I'd be in a nursing home! Good luck on the goals, they keep us going. Lisa

  12. Hi Cindy!
Wishing you a joyfilled new year!
Nice to start anew isnt' it...so far I have been frustrated by computers but other than that I started out the new year with my family and that was great. Just got back from Minnesota and no mountains there lol...but plenty of snow.
As far as day planners never have used them but may have to start as my memory is getting a ittle cloudy.
    Blessings to you my friend
    Rebecca

  14. Cindy,

    thanks for coming by.
re tea set: Yes, I packed everything.
Are you sure it was not in piece of tissue that might have gotten thrown away?
I know you were probably really careful though.

I did it right on the checkout and there was nothing there when done.
    Oh bother!!

I will check around when i go over tomorrow, but have no clue where it could be.

    What should we do?
    So disappointing!!

  18. Love your new blog look.

regarding tea cup. I am sure i put all pieces in, but I did check at the store anyway. not there.

Were you able to check in the wrapping paper in came in? Or had it already been trashed?

I did pack it, but lets figure out what to do anyway. One tea cup is not much good for tea for two. I want you to be happy.

    Email me OK?

    blessings
