MY FAIRY IN A JAR

I purchased a tutorial from a cute blogger friend, "The Fethered Nest", on building a, "Fairy in a jar". My bottle is sitting at eye level in front of me and my computer. I know that she will give me inspiration as I attempt the journey of writing my daughters story this year. I also found out today that I will be volunteering for 80 hours at Primary Children's Hospital, where I will get to be with the children and spend time in intensive care holding the babies. I am counting on memories and feelings coming back to me, so that they can go into my story.

I am creating a blog so that, if you wish, you can follow my journey. It's listed on my sidebar. It's called "Angles in Waiting".

  4. Cindy your Faerie is so beautiful! You did such an amazing job my friend.
I'm so jealous that you will be volunteering at Primary Childrens. Landon has had to be hospitalized there twice now and while they were such worrisome times for our family, there was a peace there that is hard to explain. Surely angels are walking the halls of that amazing place. I know you will love the experience.

  5. What a cute fairy! I tried to click on the sidebar to get to your Angles in Waiting but was unable to find it. Is it Angels instead of Angles?

  7. Cindy,
That is such an amazing thing for you to do. My triplets where born premature, at 30 weeks. My husband & I spent many hours in the NICU, holding them, making sure they felt our touch. They came home one at a time & our time at the hospital was cut short. I'll never, ever forget the volunteers who took our place in those hours. Holding & nurturing our babies as they would their own. It takes a special person to give of themselves like that. Bless you Cindy! Lisa
