BLOGGERS LUNCH IN FARMINGTON

Empty spools of thread do not show up around here very often, I just keep buying thread. But finally I ran out of two spools of black thread at one time. Soooooo,
rather then waisting the spools I turned them into something to smile at.

Here's something else to smile at: Kelly, from Monarch Post, wants to host a bloggers lunch. Mimi and Brenda and I said, yes, go girl, we'll be there. We want you to come too. It will be on February 16, at 12 NOON. It will be at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington Utah. You can go to monarchpost.blogspot.com for more details. We just want to EAT AND MEET!

SURPRISE FROM JODIE @ EVERYTHING VINTAGE

Talk about excitment. I went to my mail box today and a surprise fell out from Jodie LeJeune at everything vintage. I just love her! She brought me a thimble from her vacation in Key West. I can't believe that she thought about me and went hunting down thimble's. What a special gal. I will never forget you for this. I adore thimbles and I adore people who surprise me. A Vintage girl on a calendar, a special card from paris and her business card came with it.

I will write her name and the date on a little piece of paper and fold it up and stuff it in the thimble. It will take it's honored seat on my thimble shelf I made.

Thank you sincerly dear friend.

Big Hugs
Cindy

MY FAIRY IN A JAR

I purchased a tutorial from a cute blogger friend, "The Fethered Nest", on building a, "Fairy in a jar". My bottle is sitting at eye level in front of me and my computer. I know that she will give me inspiration as I attempt the journey of writing my daughters story this year. I also found out today that I will be volunteering for 80 hours at Primary Children's Hospital, where I will get to be with the children and spend time in intensive care holding the babies. I am counting on memories and feelings coming back to me, so that they can go into my story.

I am creating a blog so that, if you wish, you can follow my journey. It's listed on my sidebar. It's called "Angles in Waiting".

BALLET SHOES AND TEACUPS

The first picture:

It doesn't take much to make me smile. While visiting Aunt Elsie's in West Jordan, I found this darling little teacup and saucer in lime green. I also found these adorable ballet slippers.I use to be a ballerina, (really), (no, serious), come on now, I did. Denise,(the store owner) found these vintage earrings to clip on the slippers. Lime green is an accent in my sewing room. I was too a ballerina. I was in the nutcracker and everything. I got charlie horses in my calves every time I pointed my toes. ANYWAY, I don't know what ever happened to my toe shoes, so I bought these to remember a time in my history when I was a primadonna.

The second picture:

I have been looking for a lamp to replace one I've used for 5 years in my bedroom. I was visiting a different TJ Max, man did they have beautiful lighting and mirrors. I fell in love with this one, it's all Crystal. My cute hubby took me back Saturday and bought it for me. Mr. Stitches can be very sweet if he wants too. Look closely, can you see some white lines? There only there in the picture. I knew that we had ghosts in this house.

Have an awesome week everybody and come visit me.

TAKE SHAPE FOR LIFE

MEDIFAST IS: FAST: Average weight loss of up 2-5 pounds a week. SAFE: A plan that has been recommended by over 20,000 doctors since 1980; low-glycemic foods that can work for everyone, including people with type 2 diabetes. SIMPLE: Nutritious, pre-portioned, easy-to-prepare meals that are delivered to your door. SATISFYING: Formulated to be filling and satisfying. SUPPORTED: Answers and inspiration whenever you need them; whether they come from your Health Coach, our online community, or the Home Office, you're never alone.

Six month's ago I couldn't stand for more then 10 minutes because my lower back hurt so bad. I knew that I had deteriorating disc's and it was getting worse every day. I'll make this short by saying this: My prayers were answered. I found relief. Elite Performance Health Center, 17 treatments on a defusing machine.

It took me two months to accept that I wasn't in pain anymore. Two months to change some bad habits that I had gotten into.

I wanted to do my part, so, again my prayers were answered. I found a nutritional life style that works with my body to burn unwanted weight. I began the program the week before Thanksgiving and as of today, I have lost 30 lbs. I plan on staying with this life style till I reach my goal. Then I will begin on a journey of maintenance. I can stay close to this new life style for the rest of my life.

I wanted to share this with you, because I have a great passion for all things and people. I want to live my life to the fullest. That to me means, sharing with others!

OUT WITH THE OLD

You've heard this before, but I love new beginnings, or start overs. I remember as a child thinking that I couldn't believe, ever, seeing the year 2000. Well, now it's 2010 and I'm still enjoying this great life. I don't know about you guys, but I would be lost without my Planner. It just so happens that I needed a new one and I got it for Christmas. I was so excited - I've transferred all of my phone numbers alphabetically to the back. I've scheduled annual events, semi annual events, and quarterly events and I'm working on monthly events. My goals have been set and I've begun working towards them. My Blog is starting over with a new background and boarder but my format is the same. My desire to visit and be motivated by all of you is the same. I will also keep you posted on my many projects.

This is going to be the best year ever. Can't wait to hang-out with you.
