Hi my blogging friends. I sure wish I could download my new pic's but I'll have to use an old picture. I've showed you these before, they were taken off of my grandmothers house before it was torn down. They are so chippy and worn. My cousine held onto them for years before she gave them to me. I was so grateful to receive them. I was thinking about repainting them because I felt that they were more rustic then I would want to use. But I had a dream - and in that dream I was with my grandmother and we were talking about her old house in Ephriam. She ask me not to paint them, but leave them natural, because they were all that was left of her home. I cleaned them up with mild soap and water. There were two holes in each of them that attached them to the porch. I had 4 pink crystal knobs and I screwed each of them in a hole. They will each be attached to the wall. I will be getting a matteress and boxsprings shortly and then I can put the bed together and then I'll take pictures of the room and post them. Monday I am taking my computer to my son to have it looked at.

Have a great week! Big Hugs

HELP, I CAN'T DOWNLOAD PICTURES

What the heck? I can't download from my camera. I have been trying everything I know. I need help, where's my son. I've been very busy making and creating presents for all the birthday people in my life. I want to show and tell, but I'll have to wait until I can get fixed.

Today is my daughters 38th birthday. I have candles burning, music playing and cyder simmering on the stove. Special treasures wrapped with great care for her to open. Then I will whisk her away to find something special for her home and conclude the day with a remarkable salad toped with tequila lime dressing from Iggy's.

Yea daughters!!!!!!

Have a great week my friends. Big Hugs Cindy

WHITES

One of the first pieces of furniture my mother in law owned was this side table. It sat in her living room.

It was so hard for my hubby to turn this table over to me. I had to beg and beg for 4 years. It's been in his den all that time. It really didn't look good with his furniture. Now I think it looks as special as it really is. White, and in my studio. I think I will find a beautiful doiley and a milk glass vauce with lime green gerber daisy's, to put on it.

I'm just about settled in my larger studio. This a corner that is new space. I have two large walls I can also fill with new treasures.

A puffy curtain seemed natural for this window.

A few of my favorite milk glass pieces. You can visit several other bloggs by visiting Karen's White Wednesday.

BOO

I was hoping to get up to Just a bed of Roses this fall, and get Brenda's help in spooking up my place. However, my September has been a messed up one. So --- My decorations are quite mild, but I sure had fun doing them. I made this wreath for Fall and added some Halloween.

I loved these signs, I think I got them at Wallmart. I know that Brenda would have made the potions and had it there for you to sample.

This is a Cinderella pumpkin, it's squaty.

Hey what's that in the Sage bush? Oh, I know, it's that door to door salesman that I cast a spell on last year. I did learn how to cast spells from Brenda.

We got a little carried away last year at Shellie's party. All of the neighbor cats and dogs became my target. SKULLS! They now hang on my fireplace.

Mr. Skelly will great you when you open my door.

I have to just hang my hat this year, I'm sorry to say that I can't be a witch.

My son gets so mad at me for canceling the spider sprayer. I told him that I wanted to let the little varments in for Halloween.

I am really in to skulls this year and casting spells - OH WOOPS - my visiting teachers came over - and - it looks like they didn't get out. I think they look very good sitting in those places. The spell will work until Nov. 1. I hope their families don't miss them.

TIME FOR HALLOWEEN FUN

Tomorrow is October 1. I've had my Halloween decorations, that I started gathering last year, up and ready to put out, for a week now. This is such a new thing for me, but I can't wait to decorate. I even ask my hubby if he would like to be a ghost with me to pass out the treats.

I couldn't help but look at the Halloween fabric as I've been out. I made these two pillows to snuggle up to my cinderella pumpkin on my porch.

I love to coordinate fabric.

I got this skeleton face from, graphics fairy, 3 months ago. It made a cute pillow for my grandson Max to lay his head on.

I will be visiting you soon, I hope there are lots of spooky things waiting to see.

WEW, I'm beat!

I know that there are many of you that do allot more canning then I do. It's been 8 years since I last canned Salsa. My neighbor gave me 2 big box's of tomatoes free, I said I wanted to do Salsa. I spent $30.00 at the farmers market buying pepper's of all kinds, $30.00 at the store buying wide mouth pint bottles and rings and herbs and cloves. I'm sorry, I forgot to take pictures until I was all done, you'll just have to imagine it. What a mess! It took 2 days. One day to blanch, pill and cut all veggies, and wash bottles. The next day to organize, cook, fill bottles and water bath 8 bottles 3 times. We got 23 pints! We can buy a bottle of a good salsa from Costco for $1.25. 23 of those bottles would cost 29.70 - plus tax.

After it's all over, the kitchen is cleaned up and I've had a 2 hr. nap, I guess I can say, yeepy! Salsa!!!!!!!
