THE HOLIDAYS ARE UPON US
OK, the Holidays begin today. I'm taking Halloween down and carefully storing it, because I look forward to adding to it finally. I will be putting fall and Thanksgiving up. I thought This picture with Owey and his turkey leg was so cute, I'd begin with it.
OH, I am also ordering my "Christmas with Southern Living 2009" book. This will be my 12th year. I love everything Southern.
I have been buying Richard Paul Evans books for several years also. It's time to go get his new one. I like to read all of them again up until Christmas.
I will be visiting you to enjoy your Christmas preparations too.

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! I love the new look of your blog for fall!. I too am preparing for the season. Since I re did my livingroom the tree decorations for that room need some tweaking. So I'm planning and creating so I will be ready in a few weeks. Thank you so much for your VERY sweet words about my stuff being sent off to Sommerset. You gave me a little warm fuzzy to start out my day!!! Make yours wonderful!

Hello,
ReplyDeleteOwey is adorable! I usually decorate more for the Fall than Halloween so I am already done. I decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving though. How about you? I will stop back by to see what you have done. Have fun!

Hey!
ReplyDeleteI just noticed your comments on my post on http://damefamilyrecipes.blogspot.com/.
That is actually Shelli's (Geilmann Dame) blog. I am just an author on it. And the recipe was from Julie Bressler your niece but I am the one who posted it so that is why she didn't know about it! Funny...

Thats a nice collection of Richard Paul Evans books...how nice to read them each season, then you catch the "spirit of the season" easily.
ReplyDeleteOwey...well that's a priceless picture isnt it?
Southern Lady magazine...can't go wrong with that one. Pictures are exquisite. Nice to know that's been your style for a long time. When I was with make mine pink, we use to advertise in their all the time. Not sure if they still do.
Carl put the shop Halloween left-overs away, that was nice.
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for our Thanksgiving feast! But I am more ready for Christmas...It is my most favorite time of the year. Yay! Oh! And Owey looks so cute with his big turkey leg. Gobble, gobble! :-) Hope you are having a super day. Blessings.
Hugs,
♥Ana
I'm in California at the daughters house. Babysitting while they go back east to a graduation! Having a great time but we'll be back next Tues. the 10th. So I'll be able to meet you on Wed at Just a Bed of Roses if you still can. Should be tons of fun. Can't wait, my dear friend. Mimi
ReplyDeleteHI Cindy,
ReplyDeletejust wanted to pop by ad say hi.
Love your post and your season decorations.
By reading your profile i've learnt you live in Utah.I luv Utah some much and it's so beautiful this time of year. In my younger years I spent several months in SLC and Logan since i had friends there, and also did a semester at BYU after graduation, and I cherish some wonderful memories of those years.
Blessings
