Material from Montreal

I have had so much fun reading the comments for my color suggestions. I love color and I get soooooo excited. I wasn't sure how I was going to figure this out but let me tell how it happened. After I read and re-read the suggestions, the colors that you are looking at were stuck in my mind. So I had an idea.

While I was visiting in Montreal Canada last week, I ask about a shop and I was told about the "Fabric Villa". When we finally found it I couldn't wait to go in. I seriously found the most Delicious fabric I've ever seen. I had to look and feel everything. I kept going back to this special piece. Chocolate, butterscotch and caramel with a touch of black licorice and ice (French Blue). It takes my breath away. This was it! I'm going to make two big pillows for my quest room and then I have left overs.

I have to give credit to several gals for inspiring this find.

Collected Treasures - Carmel's and Browns
Vintage Craftier - Carmel's
June - French blue
Home is where the heart is - Blue Gray

So, the way I look at it, all of these gals are winners.

  4. The material is gorgeously breathtaking! I can hardly wait to see the pillows. Those colors will be perfect for your home. Your blog wouldn't let me leave comments on your montreal posts. I wish I could see the pictures. Maybe you could try reloading them. I had a great time with you in Montreal, just wish we could have done more together. Did you see my blog posts on the trip?
