THE PORTS ON THE OCEAN
It's my lucky day. My neighbor, and friend, ask me to watch her house while her family went on a cruz to Mexico. She came over today and placed something in my hand. I could feel it's curves and I screamed - a thimble -. I wish you could see it, my picture does not do it justice. It's a perfect fit on my right middle finger, I do believe that I could quilt with this one.

Hi Cindy sweet,
ReplyDeleteI do think you will love this little memento from your friend. I think that was so thoughtful of her and she must know you well.
I also wanted to tell you that your pretty green baskets might ever inspire me to do a little organizing around here. I have got to do something. You can't believe all the junk I had to move to get to my sewing machine today. I have been making a few things lately and I just can't seem to sew without making a huge mess.
hugs
What a cute thimble, Cindy. Such a nice neighbor. When will you be working this week? I want to come down and see the shop and you. Mimi
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! You'll have fun with that...I'm all thumbs when I try to use one! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comment. And congratulations on the weight loss! That is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteDidn't make it down to see you this week. I hope I'll make it to the luncheon. The hubby has a Dr appt in Ogden that day to see the neurosurgeon...I'll let you know. Mimi

ReplyDeleteI won't be able to make the luncheon, as much as I'd love to be there, I do have to work.
